Nebraska Historical Markers

I drove to see my son play in a tennis tournament in McCook. It was a little farther away than I expected so I didn't get to see his first game. He did win second in the doubles.

The tournament also ended earlier than I expected. On the way back I decided to stop and take in some of the historical markers I always pass by on highway 26 between Ogalalla and Scottsbluff.

This is a sod house in Ash Hollow outside of Llewellyn, NE,

On the other side of town there was apparently an Indian massacre. It was called the Battle of Blue Water.

Some markers for the Mormon Trail.

This was just south of Bridgeport.
