After Thomas's Confirmation, Patrick wanted to play with the camera since he went to college and knows all about it. I am not sure I am impressed with the results.

Patrick Graduation

Patrick had his high school graduation today. He wore the soccer scarf even though he was not supposed to.

Bunnies

I was out working in the yard last week when Becca started barking furiously at something. I went in to the backyard to check and found four baby bunnies. I have seen momma hopping around. I went in and told Thomas who also took a look. When Patrick got home he also took a look and then insisted we take them in and feed them. I did a little research online and found that you can feed them artificial kitten milk. I worked at feeding them, but unfortunately two died within a day. Another died a couple of days later. The last one held out for a week. It learned to sleep in my pocket and my hand.

High school soccer is not a big draw compared to football and basketball here. Its proponents are loud and persistant, though. The rivaly between Scottsbluff and Gering high schools extends here. Tonight Patrick scored a cool goal against them. Eseah Ingram was selected to take a penalty shot. The keeper blocks it, but Patrick comes up on the deflection and sends it in the net. I had a video camera set up and it recorded the shot.

Nebraska Historical Markers

I drove to see my son play in a tennis tournament in McCook. It was a little farther away than I expected so I didn't get to see his first game. He did win second in the doubles. 

The tournament also ended earlier than I expected. On the way back I decided to stop and take in some of the historical markers I always pass by on highway 26 between Ogalalla and Scottsbluff.

On the other side of town there was apparently an Indian massacre. It was called the Battle of Blue Water.
