Albuquerque Balloon Fiestival Day 2
We got up about 4 to go see the balloons light up. It was cool. I will also say the traffic management was great.
Even Darth Vader and Yoda.
Later on after the sun came up, there where lots of balloons.
The flame used to fill it was warm.
Taking off.
I was amazed at the variety.
Lots and lots.
The motorcycle one was the last to get up in the sky. It probably takes a lot of time to fill the balloon with enough hot air.
A couple of shots as we left to drive back to Nebraska.

Albuquerque Balloon Fiestival
Apirl and I went down to Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiestival. We tried to see one in Gering but the wind kicked up and they could not launch the balloons.
Nuclear Museum
We had some time to kill in Albuquerque so April let me go to the Nuclear Museum. It was interesting.
First is the X-ray machine.
Then the flouroscope. Do they still use these things?
Medical Imaging early tech...
We went outside to look at some of the rockets and planes. I just took one of the B-52.
They had a replica of the tower for the first test of a nuclear bomb at the Trinity site in nearby White Sands. You can only go to the site on certain days.
They also had an exhibit of the De Lorean from Back to the Future. Not sure why, but it was cool.
